LEW CHEE SEONG

After a career spanning nearly two decades as a lawyer, during which he managed his own law firm, Messrs. CS Lew & Partners, for seven years, Chee Seong decided to retire in 2016. He obtained his Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the University of Reading, UK, in 1994, and as a litigator, he specialized in banking, civil, commercial, and corporate litigation and advisory work.

Chee Seong’s experience with contentious and non-contentious probate proceedings has taught him the critical importance of proper estate planning, including the drafting of a last will and testament. This realization, coupled with his potential financial independence, sparked his interest in the arena of financial planning. He is a Shariah RFP certified professional since 2015 and a CFP® holder since 2022. He is committed to helping his clients achieve financial freedom and secure their financial future.

Chee Seong is an active member of the Admin & Finance Committee of the Malaysian Financial Planning Council since 2015. Prior to joining Alpine Advisory, he previously served as a shareholder and director of ECL Advisory Sdn Bhd, a financial advisory firm. With his legal and financial expertise, he provides tailored solutions to his clients that reflect their unique needs and goals.

Aside from his professional pursuits, Chee Seong has been involved in the arts for more than two decades. He was a member of Five Arts Centre until 2015, and he also taught English to displaced Hazara Afghan refugees in Ampang under an initiative by ElShaddai Centre Bhd in partnership with the Hazara Women Empowerment Centre.
